4-1-26   THOUGHTS  

As GUARANTOR of the New Covenant, Jesus is the “Down Payment-Seal” that God will bring to its full completion, His plan to save mankind.   The quality of our High Priest Forever is shown in our reading.  The quality of the plan is said to “save completely those who come to God through him.”  Finally, we learn that Christ  “always lives to intercede for”  us!  I pray that we can see clearly that God has given us the very best!  Matt 5:8   "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall  see God.”

Heb 7:22-25 NIV   Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.  23  Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office;  24  but because Jesus lives for ever, he has a permanent priesthood.  25  Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Our Prayer:
We thank You, our God,  for the way You have done all things.  Give us willing, seeking,  focused hearts to serve You joyfully.  May we give, may we love, may we speak!  Replace apathy with a powerful yearning in us, for a closer walk with You.  We know that You will complete what You have started, help us to do the same as we seek eternity with You.  In the name of our Lord and Savior,    Amen.
